About web design

Concept of web design is very deep.In present world the institutions are connecting themselves with internet for publicizing their information and products. For watching information we use web browser. The information we take from web browser is already saved in web server. The information are send and received by a medium. It is called HTTP(hyper text transfer protocol). In the server the information of millions web site are saved. By using html the information is represented.Mainly by html document structure is represented. 

Invention

In 1989 Tim Berners-Lee a computer specialist from Europe first time think about the web. He presented that web is a knowledge sharing tool for scientifically working in worldwide area.  He and his assistant Robert Cailliau first time opened a internet system for the society.

Now, World Wide Web Consortium institute is controlling the internet system.  Tim Berners-Lee is the director of that institute. Following that way now Concept of web design is going ahead.

   Web design

Web design is the concept on how the information presenting in the internet.It contains about the representation style of the font, color,size,how many part will be in a page etc. 

A web page may contain text,audio,video,picture etc. A web page may contain one or more than one pages. Hyperlinking these pages a website is built.

Process of opening a website:

• Domain name registration
• Web page design
• Web site have to be saved on a server (Have to paid)
• Have to connect in search engine 

Web page 

It is a type of web document which is usable in world wide web and internet browser. Web page is a type of file that is saved in the servers of a lot of countries. Each page mainly written by using html (Hyper text markup language). each of the web pages has an address. It is called web address. 

Web site

By interrelating one or more page , connecting with internet it's  space/location can saved. Web site contains an unique name. 

In internet there is high leveled powered computer that is called server. There data can be saved for a limit of time and there is an specific limit of space for saving data. The server a web page is saved is called URL(Uniform resource locator) or web address.

Types of web pages

Basing on the structural characteristics web page are two types. 

1. Static web page
2. Dynamic web page

Static web page 

Those web pages which information changes less after publishing the web site is called static web page. Here some information are already prepared before publishing the web site . Usually html language is used for designing these pages.

Dynamic web page

The web pages whose information changes a lot that is called dynamic web page.  For making dynamic web pages we have to know the languages as example PHP,ASP,JSP etc. 

Basing on the location web page are two types. 

1. Local web page
2. Remote web page

Local web page

Locally designed and controlled web pages are called local web page. These pages are easily controllable from the source drive and directory.

No internet connection is needed for this.

Remote web page

If the web pages are saved in a computer which is far from user is called remote web page. Internet is necessary for accessing these pages. For browsing these pages we must have to know the web address of that page. This type of address is called URL(Uniform Resource Locator).
